Portable Paw Cleaner

Paw cleaner: a splash of water, a few twists, and the mud stays on the doormat.

Fill the cup a third with lukewarm water, paw in, a gentle twist: the soft silicone bristles lift mud, sand and road salt, you dry with a towel and the bath stays clean. Round here it lives in the car door pocket, lid on; our dog eyed the cup like a trap on the first walk and put his paw in unprompted on the second. The cup comes fully apart and in three sizes to match paw width.

Sizes: S for cats and small dogs, M for medium dogs, L for large dogs. Two colours, purple or pink.

Fill the cup a third with lukewarm water, dip the paw, twist gently for a few seconds, then dry with a towel. Add a little dog shampoo only when mud is caked on, never household soap, which dries out the pads. Rinse the cup after use and leave it upside down to dry so it never smells. In winter it also removes road salt, which is especially irritating between the toes, before your dog licks its paws.

Wrong size? The tape measure goes across the widest part of the paw, and you have 14 days to exchange it.
