Insulated Waterproof Outdoor Cat House

An insulated shelter for the cat who will not come indoors and will not get rained on either.

For the outdoor cat, the stray you feed or your own: the sloped roof sheds rain, the padded double wall keeps body heat in and the door flap stops draughts. Round here, the cat from three doors down inspected it one evening, slept in it that same night and has not raised the matter since. Sizes: M, L or XL. Sized for one or two adult cats. Place it raised and against a wall to keep the warmth in.

Raise the shelter a few centimetres on a pallet or two planks: cold rises from the ground far more than from the air. Face the entrance away from the prevailing wind and rain, against a wall where possible. A fleece blanket or dry straw inside holds heat better than a towel, which dampens and chills. Check inside after every spell of rain and replace the bedding as soon as it feels damp.
