A heating pad that holds 35–40 °C in the bed: the cat finally gets off the router.
Low voltage and a gentle warmth on top, like the mother’s belly: the kitten curls up, your senior or arthritic dog eases his hips, and the room nobody heats stops being a problem. Round here the old dog took ten minutes to lie down; the cat waited for him to leave, then took the spot without looking at us.
