A bag one-handed, the pavement lit at a press: the dispenser lives on the lead.

The dispenser clips to the lead by strap or carabiner, hands you a bag one-handed and lights the pavement at the press of a button; no more excuses for leaving anything behind. Round here it went on the lead one November evening and has not come off since; the light has mostly been used to find the gate lock on the way back. Shock- and splash-resistant shell, one roll included, fits standard rolls.

Two sizes, Standard and Large, in blue, grey or yellow. Light and discreet, it lives on the lead permanently.

Load the roll and feed the end through the slot before closing the lid: after that the bags pull free one-handed. Stow the full bag in an outside pocket rather than against the dispenser, and change the roll once three or four bags are left, because Murphy’s law applies to evening walks. The light tilts down to the ground so it does not dazzle other walkers, and it also helps you find a ball in long grass.
