Honeycomb litter mat that keeps the grains by the tray, not down the hallway.

Grains stuck to the paws drop into the honeycomb and the bottom layer holds them, so the floor around the box stays clean without sweeping three times a day. The detail nobody thinks about in the shop is the side opening: round here the mat simply opens over the box, no scoop and no vacuum. The honeycomb is soft EVA foam, the bottom layer is waterproof, and the whole thing rinses under water.

Position the mat so your cat takes at least two steps on it leaving the box: a mat that is too narrow traps almost nothing. Fussy cats accept a soft surface more readily than hard plastic, which is why the honeycomb is EVA foam. Empty it once a week, twice with several cats, and rinse in warm water without scented detergent: strong smells can put a cat off using its tray.
