Description
The paw wax lives on the hall table, between the keys and the lead.
A thin layer before you head out, and a breathable film sits between the pads and the road salt, ice and frozen tarmac; snow stops balling up between the toes. Round here, on the first frosty morning, the tin was still at the bottom of a rucksack while the dog waited at the door with the lead in his mouth; it has lived next to the keys ever since.
